Editorial policy
Vibrant Civic Briefing aims to make civic processes clearer while treating facts, distinctions and uncertainty with care. We review our wording for accuracy and make changes when a meaningful error is identified.
Accuracy and clarity
We check that explanations distinguish proposals, recommendations, decisions and records rather than treating them as interchangeable. Where practices vary, we say so and keep the discussion at a general level. Articles are written to inform, not to direct readers through a specific local procedure.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader understanding. Partnerships do not buy favourable coverage or control our conclusions. We consider claims carefully and avoid presenting an interested party's view as an established fact.
Corrections
If you spot an error or a passage that could mislead, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and wording. We review correction requests and revise material when warranted; significant changes should be made clear in the article.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. A partnership does not guarantee editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; we identify them where relevant and do not use illustrative images as evidence of real events.
Clarity is part of civic life
Public choices are easier to follow when the language and process are visible. We slow down the details so readers can find their bearings.
